My work sits between design and engineering. I care about interfaces that hold together as a product grows — component libraries, design tokens, the boring consistency that stops a codebase drifting away from what was designed. In practice that means React and Next.js in TypeScript, with the back end, data model and deployment handled in the same engagement rather than handed off.

Two pieces of work say most of it. For AIREN, a research platform on ethical AI, I built the whole thing end to end for Health Copilot AI — architecture, interface, back end, data model, deployment and the maintenance since. And Weekwright is my own product: an AI scheduling tool that drafts a team’s week in seconds. Running a product I own keeps me honest about what it actually costs to maintain software after launch — which changes how I build things for other people.
